Cake Designs
How do I order a cake?
To start the order process, please send an email to lauran@stackedstudio.com containing all the following information:
- Date of the event
- The occasion/nature of your event (wedding, birthday, etc)
- Event location, delivery address, and delivery time
- Amount of servings needed
- A daytime phone number
- An email address
- An idea of what kind of cake design you are looking for with any inspiration pictures.
We will contact you to discuss your order and/or schedule an appointment.
We are open by appointment only; we do not have any cakes pre-made for sale. Every cake we make is custom made to order from start to finish.
Do you deliver?
Yes, we deliver all our cakes within the Durant area. Anything outside of a 10 mile radius of Durant will be charged a delivery fee of $2/mile, up to 90 miles.
Do you ship your cakes?
No, we do not ship any of our baked goods.
When should I order my cake?
All other orders should be placed at least 4 weeks prior to your event date.
We will always try our best to accommodate rush orders or orders placed less than 4 weeks in advance, but please order as soon as possible to make sure we have the availability. We do not carry items on hand to be ordered and picked up the same day. We are a custom bakery, and all of our cakes and cupcakes are baked and created to order.
Can I place an order and pick up the same day?
All of our cakes, cupcakes, and goodies are custom made to order. We do not
have any products available for same-day pickup. Please place your order with
at least 2 weeks' advance notice.
I just need a small cake, does your minimum order still apply?
Yes, all our cakes start at $100.00, regardless of the size or type.
Is a deposit required?
Yes, A 50% down payment of the order total is required upon order placement.
The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before your event.
Wedding Cake Consultations
What should you bring?
You can bring anything that is an inspiration for your cake such as an invitation, fabric, a dish, color samples, pictures and of course your ideas! Also any contact information we may need and the address of your reception. If you are planning to have fresh flowers arranged on your cake then you will need to set up your cake delivery at a time when your florist can be there to do the arranging.
What do we do in a wedding cake consultation?
We will discuss and map out a design for your bridal cake and/or grooms cake while you munch on cake samples. You can choose to pay your deposit at the time of the consultation if you would like to reserve your date.
When do you pay for your cake?
A 50% deposit is required to reserve your date; the remainder is due at least two weeks prior to your event.
***Deposits are non-refundable, but can always be used towards another cake purchase.
Wedding consultations are free. Just e-mail lauran@stackedstudio.com or call to make an appointment (580) 380-7777. Please choose a few cake flavors from the flavor list above for your complimentary cake tasting. Your wedding cake can be any flavor or combination of flavors you like.
How much cake should I order for my wedding?
You should order enough cake for the guests you know will be attending your
reception. A good general rule is to expect 75% of your invited guests to
attend. If most of your guests are in-town or close by, that number could
be higher. For example, if you are inviting 300 guests, you should order
enough cake for at least 225 people.
When should I order my wedding cake?
Wedding cakes should be ordered 3-6 months prior to your wedding date.
Spring and Summer weddings fill up very quickly. We only accept a very limited
number of cake orders per week. We want to give each cake order our fullest
attention, so once we book our allotted spaces, we will not accept any additional
orders for that week.
